A passport will suffice as identification for travel purposes. However, it is not the only option. If you are travelling by air you will need photographic identification. If you do not possess a passport or a photographic driver's licence then you can alternatively apply for a citizen's card at: www.citizencard.net If you are travelling by sea the identification you provide does not need to be photographic. However, for ease of passage we would advise our clients to obtain a valid form of photographic identification.
Travel to the Channel Islands can be by sea or by air. Our sea packages are with Condor Ferries. The fast ferry Catamaran service leaves from Poole or Weymouth and the crossing is 3-4 hours. The traditional ferry leaves from Portsmouth and the crossing takes 10-11 hours. If you wish to travel by air we fly from most major airports in the U.K.
Holidays can be booked by phoning 0871 666 1947, or you can use our online reservation system.
The Channel Islands are part of the British Isles and as such they use pounds sterling. However they do have their own bank notes and coinage.
