Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a passport to travel to the Channel Islands?

A passport will suffice as identification for travel purposes. However, it is not the only option. If you are travelling by air you will need photographic identification. If you do not possess a passport or a photographic driver's licence then you can alternatively apply for a citizen's card at: www.citizencard.net If you are travelling by sea the identification you provide does not need to be photographic. However, for ease of passage we would advise our clients to obtain a valid form of photographic identification.
